This draft explains the data MadePulse needs for a private, read-only My Shop experience and the choices available to account owners.

Account information can include your email address, password credential metadata, workspace membership, preferences, and security events. After authorized Etsy access is available, MadePulse may import your shop profile, listings, listing media references, orders, transactions, and aggregate analytics needed for My Shop recommendations.
Information we do not intentionally store
MadePulse is designed not to persist buyer addresses, buyer email addresses, recipient names, gift messages, payment instruments, or unrelated customer profile fields.
How information is used
Data is used to authenticate accounts, isolate workspaces, synchronize an authorized seller's own shop, calculate supported shop analytics, provide recommendations, protect the service, and respond to support, export, and deletion requests. Connected-shop data is not used for competitor analytics, AI training, or hidden model calibration.
Security and service providers
Engineering controls include database-backed sessions, encrypted OAuth credentials, tenant-scoped access checks, and secret-safe logging. Service categories may include hosting, database, cache, email delivery, monitoring, and the Etsy API, but public staging currently runs without live Etsy, email, database, Redis, AI, social, or billing providers.
Retention, export, deletion, and choices
Imported shop data is retained only while needed for the service and documented security or legal obligations. Account owners can disconnect Etsy, request a workspace export, remove imported Etsy data, or request account deletion. Minimal security or legal records may be retained when required.
